Abstract(2705)
Abstract:
Molecularly imprinted polymer drawn much attention for its specific identification function. Among all the research about MIPS, drug separation takes a large proportion. MIPS played an important role in extracting the target-drug from mixture, separating structure analogues and chiral drug, which enhanced the position of MIPS in the field of drug separation. In this paper, the research of MIPS in drug separation and the choice of MIPS functional monomer had been summarized, and the development direction in the future had also been predicted.

CHEN Ting, LU Ying
2011, 29(3): 176-178,196.
Abstract(2874)
Abstract:
The delivery of chemotherapeutics with targeted nanoparticles in anticancer therapy was a rapidly growing area of research. The advantages of targeted nanoparticles for drug delivery include water solubility increasement, tumor-specific accumulation and antitumor efficacy improvement, and nonspecific toxicity reduction. Current research in this field focused on understanding precisely how small molecules were released from nanoparticles and deliver to the targeted tumor tissues or cells, and how the unique biodistribution of the drug-carrying nanoparticles limits toxicity in major organs. The existing nanoparticles for the delivery of small-molecule anticancer agents and recent advances in this field were discussed in this paper.

Abstract(2955)
Abstract:
Objective To investigate the efficacy of Shenmai injection combined TE chemotherapy regime in the treatment of breast cancer and the influence to the quality of life in breast cancer patient. Methods 22 patients with pathologically confirmed advanced breast cancer aged from 34 to 72 were randomly divided into experimental group (TE plus Shenmai injection treatment group) and the control group (only with TE chemotherapy group). The efficacy ,side effects and blood indices were observed and analyzed. All patients received two or more cycles of treatment. SPSS10.0 statistical software was used to statistical analysis. Results 22 cases could be evaluated. The effective rate of treatment group (CR+PR) was 54.55%, and the rate of control group was 63.64%. There was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05); clinical benefit rate was 81.82% in treatment group, and 72.73% in control group, which had no significant difference between groups (P>0.05). The main adverse events in both groups were from the blood system. compared with the control group, which had statistically significant (P<0.05) between two groups. Other adverse reactions had the similar incidence in two groups and had not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion TE Shenmai injection in the treatment of breast cancer was effective and well tolerated, plus Shenmai injection could improve the quality of life in cancer patients, reduce the chemotherapy-induced hematological toxicity and non-hematologic toxicity.

2011, 29(3): 188-192.
Abstract(2962)
Abstract:
Objective To study the anti-myocardial ischemia effect of Yixintong. Methods The rat myocardial ischemia model was caused by isoprenaline and the experiment myocardial infraction dogs were used to observe the effect of Yixintong. Blood stasis model was used to observe the effect of Yixintong on blood viscosity and platelet aggregation. Results Yixintong (0.4 g/kg, 0.2 g/kg)could decrease ST length and rise serum enzyme(such as AST,CPK and LDH). Yixintong (0.4 g/kg,0.2 g/kg) could also lower the blood viscosity. Yixintong could improve hemorrheologic abnormality and lower the whole blood viscosity. Yixintong could inhibit platelet aggregation of rat. Yixintong could ameliorate the myocardial ischemia degree(Σ-ST) and decrease the myocardial ischemia coverage(N-ST). Yixintong could also decrease the rised serum enzyme(such as AST,CPK and LDH). Conclusions Yixintong had a protective and therapeutic action to the experimental myocardial ischemia.

2011, 29(3): 193-196.
Abstract(2913)
Abstract:
Objective To synthetize and conduct PTP1B inhibitory activity experiment of series of novel mangiferin derivates. Methods Different benzyl groups were introduced to mangiferin framework by nucleophilic substitution reaction. All the compounds were screened against protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B)with the colorimetrie assay. Results Eight compounds were synthesized and all the compounds exhibited PTP1B inhibitory activity to some extent. Conclusions Derivates of mangiferin remarkably enhanced the activity compared with mangiferin itself. In addition, the benzylated derivates with chloro atom had better inhibitory activity than other substitution groups. Furthermore, the para position of the benzyl was a better place for introducing substituent than meta and ortho position.

Abstract(2556)
Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects and possible mechanisms of procyanidins, a polyphenol extracted from grape seeds, on spatial learning and memory in rats model of vascular dementia(VD). Methods Modified Pulsinelli's 4-vessel occlusion (4-VO) method was used for replicating vascular dementia in rats. The male Wistar rats were divided equally into 5 experimental groups: in one the rats were subjected to sham-operated, and in the other four the rats was subjected to the 4-VO surgery followed by oral administration of vehicle, Ginkgo leaf extract(24 mg/kg), procyanidins(50 or 150 mg/kg) respectively. The spatial learning and memory performance was recorded as the acquisition trial and probe trial in the Morris water maze. The levels of malondialdehyde(MDA), glutathione(GSH), total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) and the activity of superoxidedismutase(SOD) in the brain tissue were determined by colorimetric Assay Kit. The gene expression of Bax and Bcl-2 in the rat hippocampus was detected by real-time PCR. Results The vascular dementia rats treated with procyanidins showed decreased escaped latency during acquisition training, especially at the dose of 150 mg/kg, procyanidins also increased exploration time and frequency of crossing in the target quadrant during probe trial. The administration of procyanidins induced increase in GSH, T-AOC contents and SOD activities with lowering MDA levels in the brain. In addition, procyanidins upregulated the Bcl-2/Bax ratio of mRNA expression in the rat hippocampus. Conclusion Procyanidins could have potentials for improving the spatial cognition with VD,which was possibly due to the antioxidative and anti-apoptotic effects of polyphenol.
