1998, (6): 322-325.
Abstract:
The animal medels of isolated myochoial pehschemic reperfusion injury in rabbits using Langendorff apparatus were used to inquire into the protective effect of indapamide and verapamil. Methods: Twenty - one male rabbits were randomly divided into three groups (n=7 in each): control group, verapamil group and indapamide group. Isolated heaxts were reperfused after 40 min of global no - flow ischemia, Reperfusion oulflow fluid were collected at 15 min,30 min 60 min and 300 min after postischemic reperfusion in order to measure SOD and MDA. Coronary flow, coronary resistance and platelet aggregation rate were tested. Results and Conclusion: The protective effect of indapamide and addition, apamil amy include: (1 )antioxide and free - radical scavenging; (2) dilating coroner artery. In addition, indapamide can decrease platelet aggregation rate.

1998, (6): 335-337.
Abstract:
In order to explore the method of preventing and treating NIDDM retinopathy. We gave small dose aspirin(40~80mg/d)to 53 cases selected at random from 106 cases with NIDDM, but without obvious retinopathy when their blood sugar level was basically stable. And we observed the development and changes of eyeground pathological process after continuous administration of two years. the results show that the incidence of retinopathy under small dose Aspirin is lower than the control and the pathological degree is milder (X2 = 6.09, P< 0.05). We also explored clinical functional mechanism of small dose aspirin in preventing and treating NIDDM microangiopathy. The results suggest that small dose Aspirin is effective and economic in preventing and treating NIDDM retinopathy at the early stage.

Study on preparation of thymic polypeptide capsules
Wei Ying, Yu Huasheng
1998, (6): 346-348.
Abstract:
This paper reports the sorbefactient and enteric method for preparation of thymic polypeptide capsules. The recipe component, preparation technique and quality control were studied. The results showed that the designation of tile recipe was reasonable, the techniqUe Of the preparation was practicable and the quality of thymic polypeptide capsules was stable.

A HPLC method for simultaneous determination of procaine and lidocaine in mixture
Wang Haifeng, Wang Ran, Tang Xiaodong
1998, (6): 355-357.
Abstract:
Procaine and Lidocaine in mixture were separated and simulboeously assayed by Reverse - phase HPLC, using Nova - pack C18 colum, 3.9 × 150min, a mixture of methyl alcohol, water, butylamine, acetic acide(600:400: 1. 2: 1 v/v) as mobile phase, external standard and 238um detector. The average recovery of 99.76% (RSD = 0.530% ), n = 3 for Lidocaine, 99. 44% (RSD 0.502% ) for procaine. The method is simple, rapid and acurate. The components have good liner relation and respative.

Abstract:
A sodium tetraphenylboron method has been studied to determine the contents of phenformin hydrochloride tablets. The method is simple, repid and accurate. The result is consistent withChiniese Pharmacopeia(1995 edition)
