Simulation of acid base titration process by computer

  • Acid base titration was a common type of volumetric analysis, which was difficult to calculate the pH value of the mixture solution and draw the titration curve. The formulas for percentage of titration (φ ) and concentration of H+ based on the acid base titration theory were derived and programmed by Visual Basic 6.0 software in this study. The titration process was dynamic simulated by calculating the exact pH value and drawing the titration curve.
