Effects of Bushenzhuanggu capsule on biochemical markers in hydrocortisoneinduced osteoporotic male rats

  • OBJECTIVE To study effects of Bushenzhuanggu capsule on biochemical markers in hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rat models. METHODS The blood concentrations of calcium, phosphorus and ALP of hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rats were determined by clinical biochemical assay. RESULTS After treatment with Bushenzhuanggu capsule, the blood concentrations of calcium, phosphorus and ALP of hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rats were increased, the activity of ALP was decreased. CONCLUSION Bushenzhuanggu capsule has some therapeutic effects on hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rat models.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE To study effects of Bushenzhuanggu capsule on biochemical markers in hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rat models. METHODS The blood concentrations of calcium, phosphorus and ALP of hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rats were determined by clinical biochemical assay. RESULTS After treatment with Bushenzhuanggu capsule, the blood concentrations of calcium, phosphorus and ALP of hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rats were increased, the activity of ALP was decreased. CONCLUSION Bushenzhuanggu capsule has some therapeutic effects on hydrocortisone-induced osteoporotic rat models.
